Bikayga

Prohibited & Restricted Items

Last updated: 24 July 2026

Bikayga exists for honest Pakistani businesses. The items below may never be listed, sold, advertised or facilitated through a Bikayga store. Breaking this policy leads to immediate removal of listings, suspension or permanent closure of your store without refund, and — where the law requires — a report to the authorities.

Never allowed

  • Arms and weapons. Firearms of any type, ammunition, explosives, grenades, weapon parts and accessories, airguns, tasers, knuckledusters, switchblades and any item designed or marketed to cause injury. No exceptions, licensed or otherwise.
  • Drugs and narcotics. Controlled substances, recreational drugs, drug paraphernalia, and prescription medicines sold without lawful authorisation.
  • Counterfeit and stolen goods. Fake branded products, replicas sold as genuine, smuggled goods, and property you do not have the right to sell.
  • Intellectual property violations. Pirated software, media, books or designs that infringe copyrights, trademarks or patents.
  • Adult content and services. Pornographic material and sexual services.
  • Gambling. Betting, lotteries, prize schemes based on chance, and gambling equipment or services.
  • Alcohol and any other goods whose sale is unlawful in Pakistan.
  • Hazardous materials. Explosive chemicals, fireworks, toxic or radioactive substances, and unsafe electrical goods.
  • Wildlife. Endangered species, protected animals, ivory and products derived from them.
  • Human parts, remains or fluids.
  • Government property. Official uniforms, badges, identity documents, government forms and stamps.
  • Financial instruments. Currency, forged notes, stolen cards, cryptocurrency schemes and instruments designed to defraud.
  • Malicious tools. Hacking tools, spyware, surveillance devices marketed for unlawful use, and devices for defeating security.
  • Hateful or unlawful content. Items or content that promote hatred, violence, terrorism or sectarianism, or that violate the laws of Pakistan.
  • Deceptive schemes. Pyramid and Ponzi schemes, multi-level marketing programs, and "get rich quick" offers.

Allowed only with valid licences

Some products are legal to sell but regulated. If you list them, you must hold the required approvals and provide proof when we ask:

  • Medicines, supplements and medical devices — valid DRAP registration and pharmacy licences where applicable.
  • Food and packaged goods — applicable food-authority licences and accurate labelling.
  • Cosmetics and skincare — compliant ingredients and labelling.
  • Tobacco products — only where lawful, with age-restricted marketing.
  • SIM cards, IMEI-registered phones and telecom equipment — PTA-compliant devices only.

Enforcement

  • We review stores regularly and act on reports from customers and rights-holders.
  • Violations lead to listing removal, store suspension or permanent closure — with no refund of fees.
  • We cooperate with law-enforcement agencies as required by the laws of Pakistan.
